Hawks

The hawks are catching my cardinals.  I went to Dollar Tree and bought this plastic tray, cut a home if the middle and hung it over the flat feeder. The hawks will only fly down to an open target. I really don’t like hawks. I can’t let my chickens free range because of them.

Words of wisdom from six year old Miss Ada—“when I grow up and have kids if they don’t mind they’re getting whuppins’ and if my husband doesn’t mind he’s gettin’ one too.”  She jabbers away as they ride to Greta’s games. Erin plays a book to get her to focus. Greta played great last night. They beat Rogers, AR. She had 3 three pointers, scored 15 points.
