Clayton is kicking it. He is number 5; he can jive! His favorite part of soccer is his cool shoes!
Astrid had her first track meet today. She won the mile and the 800 meter run! Here she is with some of her basketball friends. They are all taller than Astrid and I think she is 5'7".

I know Astrid's skirt is short, but that is the style. That was the style when I was in school. I might dig out some old photos and see how short they were. I remember Daddy telling me once, my skirt was just too short. He did not do things like that much so I guess it was really short.
Astrid is prettier inside that outside. She is kind. A week or so ago, she got in the car with Laura and just boo hooed. Something was not right...maybe someone was picked on or talked about...she said I wanted to say something Momma, but I could not find my voice! She has the power and that voice will come! I am proud that she wanted to speak up and I know she will one day. I love her so.
