Ahead Of The Lottery

Well, three people won money in the Power Ball Lottery.  I am one of the ones that ended up with more money than I had before the big sale.  Oh, no, I did not win money buying a ticket.  I won money buying no tickets.

I went to Wal-Mart about 8 this morning because I wanted to buy a roast in the marked down meats.  Yes, I found one for 7.00 and something.  It was a chuck roast.  I crave red meat.  I guess because of the anemia.  That reminds me that I have not taken my iron today.  I will do that now!  OK, I took the iron pill.  If I had put it off, I would probably forgot again.  I found a new time released iron pill at Wal-Mart.  It does not cause that sickening taste after taking it.

Well, back to being ahead of the Lottery, as I was leaving the store I found a penny laying quietly by my truck.  I picked it up and put it in my pocket.  So, I have one cent more that yesterday.  Millions of folks bought tickets and won nothing.  I am ahead of all of them.  A lady at the Waffle House told Larry she saw an old man who could barely walk buying a huge amount of tickets.  He probably spent his entire SS check and will not have food the rest of the month.  The AR Lottery made millions, but are not giving anymore in scholarship money or extra scholarships.  Probably the head of the Commission will get a big raise or big bonus.

Kenzie is at home and Hero Helen is taking good care of her I am positive.  What she had is called a dermoid cyst.  If you want to be grossed out, you can read about them.  Hopefully, Kenzie can get back to her normal existence and Helen can come home to Arkansas.

I saw on TV that although the money from the lottery is supposed to go toward education, it goes into the general fund to be used for the state's budget. Education does not get it. What a scam!
