Quilt

I wanted to make Clayton's quilt like
Momma always did. SHe would put something
old inside. I am not pleased with this
it reminds me of a table cloth. I should
not have picked the floweredy material.
I put an piece of old blue blanket as the
lining. Maybe when it is washed and faded
it will look better. I am tacking it.

I am going to make this boy a PRETTY quilt. All these drap colors are not pretty. He needs bright reds and blues, not dirty brown.

There is no brown in my quilt. I will be glad when you get your glasses and can see. It is blue and green and yellow and print...nothing brown! But I admit...I thought...it looked ugly.

Our Mother only put something old inside when she could not afford batting.......then she gripped about it not being as good as batting.......spend the 10 bucks Betty and buy the batting....it will make 2 baby quilts and it will be softer!

I think it is brown and you have all got together to say it is not just to make me think I am wrong. I never think I am wrong, just ask George.

You ARE looking forward to this little boy, aren't you, Sister Three. He'll be so blessed with his blankets and all the love you'll give him too.

I guess you had to use Clayton's quilt to keep warm while your power was out. It will be a used brown quilt now.
