Hearts of One Accord

Sometimes, the heart grows weary.  Hope the doctors can jump start Sister’s today.  He’s in charge and we are hopeful that He knows we still need her with us a while longer.

Is she getting a pace-maker? My mom had one. If I live long enough, I will likely need a pacemaker myself: My heart has what they call a "regular irregular". They aren't worried about that, but it's something they watch. If someone new is listening to my heartbeat in a doctor's office or when in a hospital getting a test, I generally tell them my heart skips a beat on a regular basis so they'll know I've been told about it already. I don't feel it skipping a beat, but if I put my fingers anywhere to feel a pulse, I can count the beats between "skips".

My mother had atrial fibrillation for many years. She took pills for it, but still had spells once in awhile. I think it got better when she got her pacemaker, though.

Mt brother -in-law, Bob, had atrial fibrillation. He went to the emergency room 11 times. Finally a large gash occurred in his aorta and it was too serious to repair. That's what finally happened to him at 86 a couple of weeks ago.

Heart is ok. Sister is a breast cancer survivor. This likely means the problem is her lungs.

Well, Dr. told Sister to get moving. Heart and lungs looked good.
