The Mockingbirds come everyday if it gets to 80 degrees to cool off. I change the bath water daily. Who wants to take a bath in dirty water like we used to do in the kitchen in a big tub! Thankful for an indoor bathroom today. I lived my first years without even having running water in the house. My Momma washed clothes on a wringer washer on the back porch. We carried the water from a spring if the cistern was dry. I don't regret my raising! I learned to appreciate things early. When I went to College, Momma sent me five dollars a week from her grocery money! It was written on a counter check from Green Forest Bank. Dad did not buy checks until he was an old man. He just used the counter checks! Precious memories lift me today.
