Laura’s Hydrangea is starting to bloom. She has it in an old wash tub that I think came from Pop. Some called these Snowballs. Hydrangea is derived from Greek and means ‘water vessel’, in reference to the shape of its seed capsules. It was also called Hortensia earlier, Hortensia, is a Latin version of the French given name Hortense, referring to French astronomer and mathematician. I wish I had one.
