Life through faded blue eyes in Galla Meadow!
Good company today—Mary Bourne came to see me. She’s only 93 and so wise. We sat on the porch in the warm sun. She brought me half gallon jars. I sent her back to Treat with lots of eggs. We spoke of flowers and gardens. Old friends are gold.
She's still driving? She's about the age of my sister, and the last I heard, she's still driving.

Mary still drives. She lives way back in the hills. Without transportation she’d be isolated.
