I met my friend Shirley Davis from Louisiana this afternoon face to face! We say we’re sistas! We connected through facebook! Shirley had been on this earth 7 decades and did not know who her biological father was. I told her I might be able to help her with her mystery. Short version of our story is—I could and I did. She has since met two new sisters. She said I filled a hole in her heart. Today, she brought me a cardinal she painted for me. Cardinals symbolize the spirit of Larry Gene to me. Shirley blessed me today.

Most of us dislike a lot of things about Facebook, but look at all the wonderful people we get to meet! I've met some of the best friends of my life on Facebook.
