Black eyed Susan’s are blooming!
I saw a few new blooms this morning—the wild petunia and Nuttall’s Sensitive Briar. The briar of the mimosa family. The leaves and blooms are very much like those on a mimosa tree. I recall being fascinated by the leaves when a kid growing up at Coin, AR. They’re sensitive. If you touch them they close up! The petunia is very fragile. Blooms only last a day.
