Raining on the Just!

Overnight Guests

We had all three girls overnight.
It was lots of fun. And I never make
them eat what they don't want. I
think that is not my job. My job is
to love them and make them happy
while they are here.

Martins are gone!

Martins have left Galla Meadow. I hope
we have more apartments up for them next
year. We have several but have to get the
poles to put them on.

Pelsor, AR

When traveling up Highway 7 at Pelsor, one side
of the road has fell away down the mt. It has
been like this for 2 months...I guess it will
be hard to fix. Mt. is on one side and nothing
is on the other.

Clayton is getting better

I think Clayton is smiling at me.

Clayton's number was 11 today. 10 is
high normal. When they got the light
his number was 15. He does not look
as yellow. He never cries...Erin and
Greg are good parents.

Martin's will ge leaving soon

Larry loves the Martins. They will be leaving
soon ... going south for the winter. One of
their houses was blow away in a late winter
storm. Hopefully we can have them some new
apartments up by next March so they will not
be so crowded.

I am going up to see Clayton today.

From Harrison Daily Times

Baby first in tower

From Times Sources

A new “baby boom” of sorts has begun at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center’s new patient tower.

Just a few hours after relocating the obstetrical unit to the tower, Greg and Erin Jones welcomed the arrival of their son, Clayton Gene Jones, as the first baby born in the tower.

The seven pound, one ounce boy was the first baby born in the all-new birthing suite in Harrison and because of a generous gift from North Arkansas College his parents won't have to worry about putting him through college.

Northark donated two years of college tuition currently valued at $3,600 (in-county residents) to the obviously happy parents, which could be worth much more by the time he goes to college.

“We are very proud to support the new patient tower and the economic future of Harrison by providing this opportunity to the child. It will be a relief to the parents and to the child that two years worth of college is already paid for and we are so happy to do it,” Northark President Dr. Jeff Olson said.

The baby arrived at 4:46 p.m. Saturday, June 28. Erin labored, delivered and recovered all in the same patient room. The new rooms are spacious enough to accommodate the entire family.

Delivering physician was Dawn Phelps, M. D. Proud grandparents include Betty and Larry Renfroe of Pottsville; Rick and Gelica Griffin of Harrison; and Steve and Pat Jones of Joplin, Mo.

Greg and Erin were exited that Clayton was the first to be born in the new facility, saying his newsworthy arrival made it all the more special.

When asked if there would be brothers or sisters in Clayton’s future, Erin replied, “With the epidural, maybe.”

Grandma and Grandpa and Me

I found this poem on my
laptop. I am sure Astrid
wrote it. I am sharing it
as I think it is precious.

Me, Grandma, And Grandpa

I like to eat my grandma’s cake. Yummy, so tasty.
I like to fish with grandpa. The fish are squirmy.
My grandma’s baking biscuits. They are good.
I like to ride with my grandpa on his blue tractor.
Sometimes they take me to the dollar store.
I like to buy coloring books and candy.
I like to do things with them.
