Crepe Myrtle, Rose of Sharon, and Forsythia

There are 3 bushes here..a Crepe Myrtle, Rose of Sharon and an Forsythia. the Forsythia has choked the Rose of Sharon. The previous owners thought you should make Lilac bushes and bushes like these 3 into a hedge!?! The Crepe Myrtles are starting to bloom. The Lilac looks awful from years of cutting it back. The Rose of Sharon is white with a purple center. I may try to dig it up as it is choked by the Forsythia. We will be moving soon to the new place. Not near
all stuff done, but it will take years to do it all.

the tree behind the 3 bushes is a plum or cherry ...I can't remember which.

you need to cut the forsythia back to next to nothing this winter. they only bloom well when they are cut back to just a small bush.
