Cocoa

I know Helen did not take her sleep aid, and I enjoyed all the pictures she posted. I think this was the very day that Dad brought Cocoa home from Eldridge Mill in the back seat of his car.
What a love he had for all of us.

We had had cocoa a long time by then...Daddy did not work at Eldridge when we got Cocoa. Mr. Hopper that daddy worked with catching turkeys for Bishop(I believe was who) Brought Cocoa to us one night almost at dark and he rode in the back of a station wagon car he was so small...They all thought he was grown because of his teeth....but he was really very young...Hopper just had him for a few months and could not keep him in his little pen in town because cocoa was so mean....turned out cocoa was a stallion and after we had him about a year his seeds dropped and daddy cut him....he was mean no more....
