The President fired McChrystal. To save money he also laid off cattle guards in Colorado. (probably not true) but I thought it was ironic. McC and the cattle guard may have something in common. Sitting around and waiting for action? Both in the sun with lots of time on their hands. Biden says the guards need to keep getting pay for six months if they are laid off!

I doubt if Biden thought McC should get 6 months worth of pay...He probably thought 'BITE ME!'
President Obama after receiving a report that there are over 100,000 cattle guards in Colorado and because Colorado ranchers protested his proposed changes in grazing policies...He ordered Secretary Ken Salazar to fire half of the guards immediately. Before Mr. Salazar could respond and to explain to him, Congresswoman and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi intervened with a request that before any were fired they be given six months of retraining
