Main Street was rough dirt and horse manure was in the street, but you can see a new sidewalk. This postcard was sent to a friend of J. H. Gentry in Oklahoma and he wrote on the card—Work has opened up pretty good here now but I’m working 10 hours for $3.00.

We have horse doo doo on some of the roads where the Amish live:) Ten hours for $3.00 and I bet it was hard work too!
