These deer are eating near Laura's house, but I know what they are doing...checking out my garden. There were six of them but I could only get five in one photo. So I can add 2 + 2 + 2 = SIX! I wish they would move to Douglas Road near Coin, AR.
The hotel McNiel worked at was in Laclede CO MO. Jacob Shanks widow, Mary, ran a hotel in Green Forest on the 1900 census, but she had remarried and her name was Mary Wilson.
