I’m living in “tall” cotton! Ever heard that saying? The term originated from the rural farming community in the antebellum (pre-Civil War) South when "high cotton" meant that the crops were good and the prices were, too. Now it means one is doing well or is successful!
Astrid and Laura were carpenters yesterday. They built my hens new nests! Logan came and helped when he was needed. The old nests had rotted down and were about to fall off the chicken coop. I have the same stain and am going to spruce it up more. A Christmas gift for me and the ladies!
