Cousin Margaret and I journeyed to the mountains today to see sweet Irene. She’s weaker and sicker than last time I was there, but she is still giving thanks for her blessings. She says I’m one of them. Makes my heart feel good inside. I took her a butt ham and some of my fresh brown eggs. Stanley usually helps with her breakfast. He is busy building a house, but he came to see me and Jannifer did too. Jann and Stanley are my cousins and they were Larry’s cousins too. I love them dearly—my people.

How wonderful that you took her a ham and eggs! Yes she looks more frail than the last time you took her photo. I hope you had a wonderful visit!
