Mama made me that quilt mostly from scraps of material I used to make the girls clothes....it was Healthtex material. Remember I used to make all of their clothes. The quilt is very soft. The Cedar Chest was given to Melissa a few Christamases ago but through her moves has made it back to my house to rest for awhile. The top is still badly split but Missy likes it that way. It can easily be repaired it is just where 2 booards have come unglued. You know Mama made me 2 fancy quilts that I bought expensive matching material for but I like the mis matched ones the best .......especially the ones she used ugly colors on together like purple and green or something that did not match at all....
Erin, Keep dreaming. That is my cedar chest. I just can't haul it to my house in my Camry. And since I lit into Billy tonight, he threw me out of his house, I highly doubt he will be moving it for me. Actually, he wouldn't have moved it even if I didn't get into it with him.

Family treasures are the absolute best kind of treasures there are. Isn't it good to know where some are stored?
