Birds were Cold Today

I bought chicken and bird feed yesterday.  Total 48.00 and some change.  I think the eggs I get are about a dollar each.  Since Larry passed, I can not eat eggs.  He like them almost each morning and now seems if I think egg I feel sick.  Maybe someday I can enjoy a scrambled egg again.  Yesterday, I remember Sister Patsy said boil them and feed them back to the chickens so I did.  My friend Mary said I needed to roast the egg shells before I feed them to the chickens.  I have always saved them but never toasted them.

The little Finch was really chilled Patsy said to watch and if they keep their feathers fluffed out they are cold.

The hawk may  have been eyeing some of my pretty birds.
