Sigrid ran around that track with the wind howling. It was a practice meet. She was 2nd 7th grader in the mile and first in the 800 meters. She is following in Astrid's shoes! The meet was 7, 8th, and 9th graders. Sigrid was in the top finishers in her two races. She signed up to try pole vault but backed out of that one. Greta might be a pole vaulter some day.
The wind came in from Mary Lou's over in Kansas. Limbs were all over the yard. It blew the electricity out. It did dry up some of the water.
I cooked Mary Lou's meatloaf tonight. Left the topping off and it was pretty tasty.
Laura and I are going to a funeral at Ben Hur, AR tomorrow. Icia Johnson was 91. She had a long life.
