Alone Once More

Saturday was rainy and we got an inch pulse. The meadow needed a drink.

Well, Sister headed up the mountain toward home ! I hope she’ll come back again!  It was wonderful having her here. She still works 40 hours a week! At 78 years, that’s an accomplishment in itself.  I was too lazy to go buy supper again. I just made a skillet of cornbread and we had cornbread and milk as we did when we were kids. Fleta kept saying…your cornbread is good as if it was shocked!

The Redbuds and Bradford Pears are blooming. After the rain, we have cooler temperatures. But still it’s very comfortable.

The photo is beautiful! Such happy faces. I love cornbread and associate it with chili. Comfort food, for sure!

Looks like a nice visit. I had cornbread and milk as a kid, because my Mom did a lot as a kid. Linda in Kansas
