Big One
Family and Friends
I want all my house to be saved. My belief CAN save others. I am planting seeds daily. I want my garden to be filled with gifts of the spirit that others can see growing and flourishing not weeds that show evil. I believe that is the core meaning of this verse. I spread the gospel and those near me can see, feel, and taste it. Come and dine.

Bluets
This is the way the sky looked. I thought storm brewing. It rained a small amount and then the temperature fell. But it wasn’t too bad today. After walking, I stayed inside. I gathered 10 eggs today. I hope you had a wonderful day. I’ve been in a better mood since I have muted the news. I turn the sound when the weather starts.
Jacket Hook
A front will pass today and the temperature will fall most of the day, but by tomorrow it will be warmer again. I need to walk early so I’ll get moving now. I hope you move around a lot today. Sitting is very poor exercise 🤣🤣

I See the Worm Moon
March’s full moon is called the worm moon and the sugar moon. Ground starts to thaw and worms start to crawl. Maple trees are tapped and maple syrup drips. Go outside tonight and see the March full moon. Laura read that diabetics can consume maple syrup with benefits.
I worked cleaning the area between my chicken pen and the side fence yesterday. It is a grown up mess. I’m making progress.
I still have lots to rake up and then I must make the area free of holes and dig some big roots.Wednesday, March 16, 2022
Fog and Daylight
It’s really foggy today. Soon the fog will lift and the sun will be in control.
Sigrid and I are going to eat together today. I eat my evening meal early. I’ve been craving fish and hope to enjoy some.
I’m looking forward to chopping some poke stalks today by my chicken pen and maybe walking without a jacket.
I saw we may have a law to make daylight saving time year around in Arkansas. The first year Arkansas changed to daylight saving time was 1970. My Maternal Grandfather carried a pocket watch. He would never change to daylight time. He said he had God’s time. The idea of saving day light has been around a long time. Ben Franklin was for it. He wrote an essay in 1784 about being awake early when the sun rose. His thought was this could save money spent candles. Do you think Daylight Saving Time year around is a good idea?

Barn Door
Yesterday and today have been rainy and cool, but I have hopes tomorrow will be ruled by the sun. I am cleaning the side of my chicken pen. Huge dead poke stalks are between the pen and the fence. When Larry was I’ll, things got away from us. I used to mow by the pen with the push mower and hope I can again. I have cleaned about 6 feet, but have lots more to go. I’m using snippers and a bush ax. I want to deter wild animals from coming near my pen.
I hope you have had a good day and have accomplished a task you wished to complete. I met with my prayer group this morning. I took my big printer to Staples for ink, and I walked this afternoon. Half of March has slid by. Another season has arrived. I hope to die in late fall when my time comes so I cam miss one winter.

Helen’s Remodel or Hats off to Sister
Until my brother passed away he lived here and remodeled some. Clayton was college educated but not a carpenter. He took out some load baring walls. Nothing can be done about that now. He made this bedroom bigger by adding what was our smoke house to the room by taking out a wall. Helen’s Ceilings had some problems too. The shingled roof started to leak. She used her stimulus money and added a tin roof. Friends and relatives provided the labor and she bought materials. She’s putting some cross broads on the ceiling where it had sagged.
She put down the laminate floor entirely by herself. My nephew came and put an oak board where the floor of the old bedroom met the floor of the cement porch. They were not exactly the same height so he screwed this oak board over to secure them together.
This part is our old smoke house.
Sister Helen does not pay rent, but she is paying for the things she is doing. She says she has lived here since 2014 and wants to leave the house in better shape than she found.
Sister Helen doesn’t know “can’t”. She used to ride to Arkansas with her husband and children on a motorcycle. Many things she does, I would never attempt.
Helen is also a cancer survivor and she has asthma. I am amazed at all she does.
This shows the oak board that holds the transition together between the two sections of the room.

Bright Sky
The day was long with the time change. Maybe the night will be shorter and I can sleep through it. My days are easy, but nights are difficult for me. Sometimes if I wake I can’t get back to sleep. I have no lights in my sleeping room. No noise. It’s pitch dark. I recall a time when I just fell in bed and slept all night. I doubt I ever do that again.
Laura and I walked at Lake Dardanelle. I walked two miles. My right knee did not hurt as it has been for months. I had decided to call for an appointment with Dr. Owen Kelly and get a cortisone shot in it, but it is so much better maybe I’ll be able to go on without it.
I see
It stayed above freezing all night and it is supposed to get to the 60s and 70s each day this week. Something to smile about.
My clocks all set themselves excepting the one on my stove. Even the clock that shows the temperature outside and in the house set itself. What a treat.

Flag is Waving
Snow, Snow
I walked yesterday before the snow storm, but after it stopped I put on my Muck boots and walked across the Meadow to get the mail. The sun was disappearing from the sky and the snow scenes were beautiful.
I am hoping spring will truly be here now. I have been picking up sticks in the yard and burning in my pit. I went to the grocery store yesterday, but they were out of crackers and milk. I pray I can be positive in mind and spirit today. I want to focus on good things and let the rest fall away. I am trying to hit the mute button in my brain. I want to do my best but fretting over things out of my control brings no good outcome. Hope you see and feel the sun today.
