Richland Creek

This is the rock that Erin put on her blog.
Richland Creek is a beautiful area in Newton
County, AR.
The bottom photo was taken several years
ago. I recall the rock was covered with moss
now it looks as if the moss is gone? Wonder
what happened to it?

OK, I know you think you know this rock and this creek, but I can not for the life of me make your rock and Erin's rock into the same rock. They are not the same shape and yours tilts at an angle up to the right while hers is sets flat. The moss likely went the way of the water, dried up and died, but my mind can not get around the difference in the way the rock lies.

Well, I looked at Erin's blog and her rock. I am thinking her photo is the other side of the rock?

I think it is the same rock because Erin said she did not climb on top like we did...I think we went in spring so maybe there is moss then and by fall it dies.
