I have many special friends from my 40 year teaching career. Today I got a Valentine and letter from my friend who lives near Brock Cemetery Northern Pope County. Another dear friend came and walked Galla Meadow with me! We distanced and she wore a mask. She brought me Valentine chocolates. Then another old friend (Joe Hendrix) called to check on me. These connections made this day very special.
I am hoping to get my vaccine soon. I see a light at the end of this dark tunnel! I hope your day was bright. Mine was as the sun was shining and friendship was too.

I feel a better day coming. Covid numbers are down, vaccines are going to be more available. I may be wrong, but I'm staying positive for today.
