Today as I walked, I was awed by a Fringetree in full bloom. It was beautiful and it’s aroma breathtaking. The tree is akin to the Ash and is also called Old Man’s Beard. It’s tougher than a dogwood, more dependable than saucer magnolia, longer-lived than cherry, and smells lots better than a Bradford Pear!
