Bird’s Foot


Walked 3 miles Sunday atop Mount Nebo.  Spied these pretty tiny wild flowers.  This is a Bird’s Foot Violet, Viola pedata.   The dainty violet is also known as a mountain pansy.  I think it’s breathtakingly beautiful.
