I usually trim the Crepe Myrtle's back in thefall or early spring. Patsy said they did not
do well in north Ar where she lives and where
I grew up. I am a 100 miles or a little more
south of her. They grow into Crepe Myrtle
trees here. I like them better trimmed but
this one looks very pretty this year!

Cutting them back is called "crepe murder" by those who choose not to do it.
They are blooming here in our area right now but not like they usually do. I'm one who commits "crepe murder" as I prefer seeing them trimed up into trees.
Sister, did you get the fish trap yesterday?
