For three hours yesterday I scrubbed the frontporch. I pulled and tugged a water hose to it.
Had to put 3 hoses together for it to reach. I got
rid of the cob webs, dirt dobber nests, dust,
and even where the swallows try to build a mud
nest each spring. It looks better, but I still
feel that I need to clean...Helen mode is on!

And I bet you don't feel the least bit sorry for the spiders and dirt dobbers and swallows. I'll also bet Helen is proud of you! And you must be proud of you too - it's so nice to have a people-welcoming front door.
i thought the weeds were bee balm but changed my mind. don't know what they are.
Those are the prettiest weeds I've ever seen! Purple is my favorite.
