Rain, Rain!

This has been one of the rainiest summers that
I can recall. I have enjoyed the rains and all the
green grass. Mushrooms are everywhere. There
are white ones in my front lawn...looking out my
window Siggie said my chickens were out of the
pen for they had laid eggs in my yard.

Kids say the cutest things, mistaking mushrooms for eggs, how cute. Children add entertainment value to family, and I'm enjoying what you share.

And, that Wichita Lineman - well, "... heeeee's still onnnnnn the line..."

Makes me wonder why the sculpture didn't do one of a Wichita Lineman! Guess she'd not into country music. ;)

We've had a lot of rain in Wichita, too. More than usual for this time of year, which makes for fast growing lawns. Have to mow more often, but pretty and green, too.

Isn't it neat how mushrooms come in a variety of colors with a variety of decorations (dots, gills, etc).

It is the wettest summer since I 've lived in L.R., that's for sure.
