Paschal Moon

The April moon is full.  It is important to me—the Paschal Moon.  The Sunday following is the day my Savoir rose after he decsending into Hades and bargained for me.  He made payment for my multitude of sins making me eligible to go to see Heaven.  The earliest Easter can fall is March 22, the latest is April 25.  In 1818, as a paschal full moon fell on Saturday March 21.  Easter was the following day—Sunday March 22—the earliest date possible. It will not fall on this date again until 2285, a span of 467 years.  In 1943 a full moon fell on Saturday March 20. As this was before March 21, the next full moon, which fell on Sunday April 18, determined the date of Easter—the following Sunday, April 25. It will not fall on this date again until 2038, a span of 95 years.  I find this all intriguing, but I beguile easily with interesting facts.  Paschal comes from an Aramaic word Pascha—meaning Passover.

Another name for our April moon is the Pink Moon not because it looks pink but because of all the pink blooms at this time—Phlox Moss and Redbud blooms.   Go look at the moon tonight and remember the significance it shares with our salvation.
