I’ve eaten here many times. Before the pandemic, they stayed open over night, but that ended with the virus. A gentleman and his nephew leased is several years back, and really turned it around. It had declined til they took it on. It was very successful because one of the two was always there making sure things were going well. They served a delicious breakfast and old codgers would gather at a round booth here daily and talk politics and other gossip. Larry used to join them!
At one PM last night the fire trucks arrived as the place was burning. 75 years of soaked in grease made it go up fast. It was a total loss. It’ll be missed by many!
