At the end of June, I got new chickens. I have six Cinnamon Queens and six Easter Eggers. I only have two red hens and a bantie rooster left from my old flock. Coyotes got a bunch of them and a hawk snatched at least one. I love having a new flock..
I have coyotes if I forget to lock them up. But when these have been here a week, I’ll let them roam some. They love it and I love seeing them scratch.

I love keeping chickens, but I don't like making them stay in a pen all day, and there are too many dogs around here that I don't trust.
