Crinum
Lily is blooming. It’s 25 years old. Also called Milk and Wine Lily and Trumpet Lily. It has many folk lore uses. I’m not sure about the healthfulness but I’m a witness to it’s beauty. I guess the tea is made from the blooms.
Crinum Latifolium Tea is highly useful in the treatment of health conditions like prostatitis, adenoma, benign prostate enlargement, uterine fibroids etc. It is used to enhance cell-mediated immunity and acts as an effective T-lymphocyte activator. It is also used in cases of hypoxia, inflammation, detoxification, tissue regeneration, and hormone balancing.
A leafy traditional Vietnamese herbal remedy, it used to be reserved only for royalty and was known both as the Medicine for the King’s Palace and the Royal Female Herb. It is currently used in Vietnam for a wide variety of health benefits in treatment for health conditions including prostate and ovarian disorders such as prostatitis, adenoma, benign prostate enlargement, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and tumours.
