Car from Sears Catalog 1953

Larry found this car on Ebay and wanted to show
me what a car from Sears looked like. I guess
this old mail order house was something. You could
order a house or car straight from Sears. The cars
were call Allstate, like they used to call their tires.
It reminds me of a Studebaker. The one with a
bullet nose.

I see you've been up and at it already today.

You caught "the worm" with this cool post. I've wondered many times why contemporary car makers don't each have a vintage car for sale, one that has the lovely rounded lines and distinctive features. Everyone tells me it's because they'd lose money but I'm not so sure. Maybe it's no imagination!

How I loved those old cars over here and where you live too.

They had character, and style - some of the old cars I had (not mine of course) I see when I got to car museums - makes me feel old lol

It sure looks in good shape. I wonder what it sold for on ebay?
